FALMOUTH, ME — March 12, 2004 — Launch Momentum LLC, a company that helps technology innovators create value and accelerate the process of turning their ideas into successful businesses, has contracted with its first major customer. Stillwater Scientific Instruments, Inc., an Orono, ME-based developer of advanced analytical instrumentation, has signed with Launch Momentum to help it commercialize its technology.

“Stillwater Scientific is a perfect fit for Launch Momentum´s services,” says Mark Waite, president of Launch Momentum. “It has exceptional technology targeted at a $2 billion growing market and a very strong technical team, but needs our combined business development, marketing, financial, and engineering expertise to bring its patented technology to market.” The terms of the deal calls for Launch Momentum to take active, interim management roles and make an undisclosed capital investment in Stillwater Scientific.
